It’s always time for Rosé wine

Provence is the birthplace of Rosé and it now produces 42% of the French AOP Rosé. Since 1994 Rosé wine outsells white wine in France. Wines of Provence fetures the region’s iconic Rosé wines.

Todday’s winemakers have embraced a new HVE certification system ranking wines based on their environmental impact taking in account Biodiversity, Management of Water, Management of Fertilizers, and Strategy About Treatment.

In addition, they are developing old and new grape varieties, develop better water management, harvest by hand during nighttime, recycling bottles and more.

Provence wine makers are ready to embrace the new challenges.

Winemaker Roman Roth from Long Island’s Wolffer Estate Vineyard in the Hamptons is very optimistic and enthusiastic about the Rosé increasing popularity.
