Co-owners Victor Medina and Executive Chef Carlos Barroz of La Pulperia Restaurants hosted a party to celebrate their appearance on the cover of Resident Magazine’s October 2018 Dining issue.
Guests enjoyed passed hors d’oeuvres including Roasted Pumpkin Empanadas, Salmon Wonton Tacos, Rye Eye Beef Tartare Bruschetta and Tuna Deviled Eggs, along with signature cocktails UES Lady and La Pulperia UES with classic sangria and a fine selection of wines.
The Upper East Side eatery, at 1626 2nd Avenue (@ 84th Street), incorporates the rustic beauty of Latin America, featuring reclaimed Brazilian wood, handcrafted Mexican tiles and unique shelving inspired by South American cocktelerias.
