Making the Silver Spirit Bigger

The ultraluxury cruiseline, Silversea, is making its Silver Spirit ship longer. In a rare feat of naval engineering, the ship has been cut in two and a 49-foot segment has been inserted to create a larger ship.

The project will create more space in the public areas and enhance the ship’s facilities.

As part of the extension, the ship will now offer four new restaurants, Atlantide, Indochine, Silver Note, and Spaccanapoli in addition to the current Seishin, La Dame, La Terrazza and The Grill.

The pool area on the sky deck will increase in length and offer additional space for relaxation under the sun. Other improvements include the new Zagara Spa concept and a free weights room. Two new public spaces, Arts Café and Dolce Vita, will improve onboard entertainment options. All suites will be refurbished to ensure the Silversea level of quality is maintained.

The new, reinvented ship will be ready to sail on May 6, 2018. Click here for more details.
