The romantic Salute to Vienna New Year’s Concert took place at Lincoln Center in New York City. This concert, inspired by the annual Viennese “Neujahrskonzert” celebrated 24 years in North America. It featured acclaimed European singers and dancers and a full orchestra. It brought back Vienna’s golden age with the joy, grandeur and music of a time past but not forgotten.

Viennese conductor Christoph Campestrini and The Strauss Symphony of America performed with Viennese soprano and tenor, Iva Schell and Martin Piskorski, members of the Europaballett St.Pölten (Austria), and International Champion Ballroom Dancers. And yes. the eternal Blue Danube Waltz enchanted everybody yet again.
