The Jewish Museum presents Edith Halpert and the Rise of American Art, from October 18 thru February 9, 2020. Edith Halpert (1900-1970) was one of New York’s first female art dealers and the founder of the Downtown Gallery in New York City. She was an influential pioneer on the American Art scene.
