The Hungarian Tourism Agency has organized an informative, and elegant press conference at New York’s Tavern on the Green on November 18, 2021.

While the journalists enjoyed goulash and chicken paprikash, they were greeted by Istvan Pasztor HE. the General Consul for Hungary along with several principals of the Hungarian Tourism Agency.

Hungary used the Covid shutdown to redevelop and rebuilt their tourism sites. As the world is opening to travel, Hungary is ready with the welcome mat.

The country offers numerous tourism attractions including new hotels, 7 Michelin restaurants in Budapest, UNESCO World Heritage sites, Jewish Heritage sites, a wine region, and numerous spas and retreats.

In 2019, the United States ranked as the 4th largest inbound market of Hungary and the 2nd largest inbound market of Budapest in terms of nights spent by US citizens in commercial accommodations.
