The traveling big-top spectacle Circus Vazquez has returned to New Jersey, opening the 2026 national tour at the shopping complex in Westfield Garden State Plaza. The family-run circus combines traditional circus entertainment with contemporary staging, live music, and an international cast of performers.
Due to strong demand and winter weather earlier in the run, the Paramus engagement has been extended through March 22, 2026.
Families looking for live entertainment in North Jersey will find aerial acts, acrobatics, juggling, and clown comedy inside the company’s classic circus tent.
Under the Big Top
Stepping inside the Circus Vazquez tent brings back the atmosphere of a traditional circus. The circular ring, tiered seating, and a live band create an intimate setting where the audience is close to the performers. We loved the following acts:
The perch act by Duo Stauberti is one of the most suspenseful moments, as the performers build a human balancing act high above the ring. The crowd reacts audibly as each element of the routine unfolds.
Valentina Vazquez’s tightrope performance added elegance and charm to the program, drawing attention to the artistry and talent involved. Her act reflects the heritage of the Vazquez family, whose name has long been associated with touring circus productions.
Chistirrin’s clown routines keep the pacing lively between acts. His playful interaction with children and adults in the audience brings laughter throughout the tent.
The overall experience feels closer to a classic traveling circus than to the large arena productions seen in major venues. For families, it offers an opportunity to experience circus arts in a traditional big-top setting.
