This year, the NY Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show ® celebrates its 30th anniversary.
The show features a collection of more that 190 replicas of New York City landmarks, meticulously handcrafted out of natural materials such as leaves, seeds, twigs, bark, acorns and pine cone scales. The miniatures, including buildings such as the Statue of Liberty, One World Trade Center, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building, as well as the city’s iconic bridges are displayed among the trees and plants inside the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
The stars of the show are the 25 model trains, all duplicates of trains and trams of past and current NYS transportations, zip throughout the exhibits.
Great fun for the entire family.
The show runs from November 20, 2021 thru Sunday, January 23, 2022
In addition to the popular Holiday Train Show, the Garden will also feature the NYBG GLOW, an after dark display of illuminated landscapes, dance, food and more along a 1.5 mile color-and-light experience. The NYBG GLOW takes place on 25 nights between November 24, 2021 thru January 22, 2022.
