A Journey Through Centuries of Music

Baroque to Rock fused classical elegance with rock’s intensity, transporting the audience from Vivaldi’s baroque era to the raw energy of modern rock. The program featured iconic works by Gluck, Mozart, Chopin, and Beethoven, as well as two original compositions by violinist Markov. He dazzled the audience, switching between a Stradivarius and his custom gold electric violin throughout the concert, adding depth and versatility to the performance.

Julien and Markov fully embraced the stylistic diversity of the concert, changing costumes with every piece. From baroque attire to black-tie tails, evening gowns, and funky rocker outfits, their visual presentation enhanced the experience. Julien’s performance of Chopin’s Nocturnes left the audience in a trance, while Markov’s rendition of Paganini’s Caprice no. 24 electrified the room.

The evening reached its climax with a grand finale featuring the combined talents of the LaGuardia and Sacred Heart choirs, the string orchestra, a wind section, a rock band, and the soloists. Markov’s electric violin soared through the hall, accompanied by the powerful voices of the choirs. The crescendo built to an explosive conclusion, leaving the audience in awe and prompting a roaring standing ovation.
