New York Philharmonic’s New Year’s Concert

On December 31, the New York Philharmonic presented “La Vie Parisienne,” a New Year’s concert dedicated to Paris and France. Alan Gilbert conducted several popular pieces ranging from Offenbach’s “Can Can” to Edith Piaf’s “La vie en rose”
The concert featured the wonderful Metropolitan Opera mezzo-soprano Susan Graham, Nathan Lane as a witty narrator and pianists Inon Barnatan, and Makoto Ozone. An enchanted evening to ring in the New Year 2016. Mark your calendar for December 31, 2016. www.nyphil.org.
