Kulm Hotel, St. Moritz is Hotel of the Year for 2018

Kulm Hotel St. Moritz in Swtzerland was awarded the prestigious “Hotel of the Year 2018,” by Gault & Millau. Kulm Hotel was praised by the judges for its exceptional culinary offerings, striking rooms designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, stunning location with breath-taking views of the Engadine Valley and its spectacular modern spa.

Gault & Millau is among the most influential restaurant guides internationally and places an emphasis on the cuisine offered by hotels when making its annual award selection.

For the winter season, several guest chefs are scheduled to cook at the Kulm Hotel including Germany’s two-starred Michelin chef Tim Raue, who specializes in Asian-inspired food. He will be stationed at the K – the hotel’s fine dining restaurant.

Recently appointed head chef, Mauro Taufer, oversees Kulm Hotel’s varied culinary concepts which include five restaurants such as Grand Restaurant, the Italian Pizzeria, Sunny Bar, Chesa al Parc, and the newly-opened Kulm Country Club. Furthermore, the hotel’s “Dine Around” program is operating in conjunction with sister property Grand Hotel Kronenhof, granting hotel guests access to three additional restaurants.

The hotel, a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, has 172 rooms, six restaurants a Spa and Conference space.
