Barbados Tourism Marketing Inc. in partnership with JetBlue celebrates new direct U.S. flight route from New Jersey’s Newark International Airport (EWR) to Grantley Adams International Airport (BGI) in Barbados, beginning Saturday, November 19, 2016.
The new direct flight route service will be available once a week on Saturdays, giving U.S. travelers in the New Jersey area a seamless way to get to the sun-drenched Caribbean island. JetBlue’s Newark route will become the fourth U.S. city with non-stop flights to Barbados – direct service from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood (FLL) was launched in April of this year, preceded by Boston’s Logan International Airport in 2015, and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) which began in 2009.

Available for booking on JetBlue.com, the weekly non-stops will shuttle between Newark (EWR) and Bridgetown (BGI) with the following Saturday schedule:
EWR – BGI Flight#313 9:37am – 3:29pm
BGI – EWR Flight#314 4:25pm – 8:41pm
JetBlue’s flights between Newark and Barbados will be operated on the airline’s Airbus A320 aircraft and will offer the airline’s award-winning service featuring assigned and comfortable seating; complimentary and unlimited name-brand snacks and non-alcoholic/soft drinks; free first-run Hollywood movies on flights to the Caribbean; and the most legroom in coach (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch of U.S. airlines).
