Affordable Art Fair NYC Fall 2023

New York in the fall is buzzing with art fairs and shows for every taste and budget. The Affordable Art Fair was back for its Fall 2023 edition in Manhattan at the Metropolitan Pavilion thru September 24th. It featured a plethora of works from over 400 talented artists represented by 76 unique exhibitors.

The Affordable Art Fair is a haven for art lovers, offering both seasoned collectors and newcomers an accessible entry-point to explore and immerse themselves in the contemporary art market. And the best part? Every piece of art on display is thoughtfully priced, with a cap of $12,000, ensuring that art remains approachable.d

This year’s fall edition offered a rich blend of international and local flavors. It featured 27 international galleries, with an emphasis on Latin America and Asia. A few names that have garnered buzz include the talented Jimena Carranza from Mexico City, the innovative online platform Catalysta which champions Latin American artists, and offerings from Mookji Art Contemporary based in Seoul.

The show celebrated the energy of the NYC art scene by giving prominence to a large contingent of local galleries. Over 30 New York-based galleries showcased the diverse talent that thrives in the city. Attendees rediscovered returning exhibitors like Agora Gallery, Michele Mariaud, and Garcia Studio. Additionally, the event will also played host to fresh faces like 1 Dutch Projects, Artling Gallery, and Minted.
